Fairy Godmothers, INC -Saranna DeWylde
“Fairy Godmothers, Inc.” is a magical romantic comedy set in the town of Ever After, Missouri, a place where fairytale characters and magic are very real. The town's magic is fueled by love, but it is unfortunately starting to run low.
To boost their town's magical supply, three fairy godmothers—Petunia, Jonquil, and Bluebonnet—come up with a plan: they'll stage a huge, fake wedding to draw attention to Ever After as a wedding destination. To do this, they recruit two of their favorite "godchildren": Lucky Fujiki and Ransom Payne.
The problem is, Lucky and Ransom have a complicated past. They were deeply in love in college, but their relationship was plagued by a series of comically disastrous events. Lucky, despite her name, seems to be cursed with terrible luck, which constantly causes mishaps and mayhem whenever she and Ransom get close. Their messy breakup years ago left both of them heartbroken.
Now, they're reunited in Ever After, forced to pretend they're in love for the sake of the town. As they navigate the fake wedding festivities and the quirky, magical residents of Ever After, they must confront the unresolved feelings and past disasters that broke them up in the first place. The book explores whether their second chance at love is enough to overcome Lucky's bad luck and save the town's magic.
